The other day, one of our wonderful members alerted me to the hotness that is Patrick Wiese (above), a contestant on Top Chef Canada. A talented daddy of a man who's culinary skills only add to his heat. It got me thinking about my lifelong dream of marrying a man who can cook. I am by no means a foodie, but eating is one of my favorite things ever in the world, so to have a lover who doubles as an in-house chef would be my ideal. I've set some cooking goals for myself as of late (mostly to do it) and seeing as this is such a wonderful forum for sharing, I was hoping I could get some tips and recipes from all you cooking capable hotties out there.

If you're game, please share any or all of the following in the comments:

I don't know if you heard but there's a wedding taking place tomorrow and it's kind of big deal. I'm not sure if it's actually a big deal or if the media is busy feeding an interest they created in this new tabloidian era. Either way, it's here and the world will be watching. But William ain't the sexy stud he used to be (Team Harry here), and so I went on a search for an even hotter royal. Enter Prince Carl Phillip, aka the Crown Prince of Sweden, aka the Duke of Värmland, aka Sex on A Swedish Stick. He's been popping up lately with all this talk of royals getting married and is now officially on my radar.

I must admit, as pleased as I am with this find, I originally set out to find a hot royal daddy. I seem to have come up short though in that department. So daddy and hunters of the world, please join me in my quest to find a hot older daddy king, prince, or duke for our viewing pleasure. If we're ever going to picture our very own royal wedding, we'll need some pics for reference so links are appreciated.

We all know foreskin is no stranger to polarity. People tend to either have really strong reactions when it comes to world's littlest turtlenecks or, like me, have grown indifferent and accustomed to its appearance. But amongst those people who have severe opinions on the matter, there's a group of "inactivists" who are looking to have circumcision banned in San Francisco. When the man behind the proposed ban, first started his crusade against the cut, most people laughed it off like so many other silly San Franciscan bans (remember the one on happy meals?). Well, the measure just got one step closer to realness bringing in the required number of signatures to put it on the ballot this November. Those signatures need to be verified as registered voters of course, but if the 7,168 needed names turn our to be legit it's sure to be a lively debate.

But why wait?

As a Jew, I often wonder what my peeper would look like in it's original encasing. Would it be super long and come to a point far over the head? Would it be the kind that doesn't even seem like you have a hood? Would sex be infinitely better with some natural skin glide? We will never know. A Brutally Hot New Photography Book

Oof! That would be the noise I make when I see a hot daddy that is so incredibly hot that it hurts. You'll be hearing that noise a lot as I flip through Michael Alago's new 260-page book of photographs, Brutal Truth. Alago, who you may be familiar with already for his other popular photo compilation Rough Gods, is known for his down and dirty style of photographing real and raw men in some of the hottest photos around. He's also one hot daddy god himself. If you like your men rough, there's a good chance you've come across his work before, whether you know it or not.

There's something, not only hot, but comforting in seeing rough men who are photographed just as they are. When you strip away the sheen, you can see the real beauty and sex appeal in being exactly who you are. I think it's the reason I love the daddy/bear community so much, it seems like a group that's more visceral and connected than most.

Alago will be going on tour with his new book, which will be sure to bring out plenty of those sexy men we're all so fond of. It kicks off tonight in New York City and continues on to Amsterdam, San Francisco, and London.

Is their anything more attractive than a man who can express his feelings? Better yet, one that can do it through song? Aside from being one of the most influential artists in music, Morrisey is one sexy mother. From his days leading the Smiths to his rockin' solo career, the man's got depth and sex appeal to spare. It's no wonder so many of today's indie artist borrow, cover, and learn from his musical greatness. And sure, the sexual ambiguity thing can get a little trying, but I guess when it comes to musical artistry like his, interpretation and exploration are all part of the fun.

IFC Gets Into The Hairy World of Competitive Bearding

There's a decent sect of gay culture that takes their grooming very seriously. Whether it's a monthly manscaping of their nether regions, a seasonal chest shaving, or a daily die cutting of their mustache, I don't think any are taken as seriously, or as competitively, as the men on the new IFC show Whisker Wars premiering in August. From what we can gather from the preview, to the men followed and featured on this show, their facial hair is incredibly important to them. Almost as if it's their livelihood. Which it very well may be if there's some sort of cash prize to be won at the beard competition this series seems to be leading up to.

Having grown what I thought was a fairly substantial beard, I can't imagine the lengths these men go to to maintain such a look for a long period of time. Seems like it's a pretty intensive (and surprisingly creative) undertaking.

I know that the opinions out there about hair are quite varied, but when it comes to facial hair, how much is too much? Let's start the polling below.

Sometimes putting on a condom can take all the wind out of your sails. You're all heated up, sexually present in the moment, ready to go deep and hard, but then you have to put a condom on and things can sometimes take a pause. It can take you out of the moment in a very physical way, and then it'll be another 5+ minutes before you're ready to go deep and hard again. It's no fun, and it's one of the biggest complaints we hear and have about condoms. "It's hard to stay hard when I put one on." But if this new condom does what it promises, putting one on just got a hell of a lot more appealing.

If the CSD500 gets approved, "the Viagra of condoms," they'll be no more excuses for the fellas trying to wiggle their way out of wearing one. The condom stores Zanifil® in the tip of the condom, "which has been clinically proven to increase blood flow within the penis which in turn leads to increased firmness, increased penile size and longer duration of an erection." If these claims, which we've all heard before, are true, this could be the best thing to happen to safe sex since, well, ever!

Being Gay Takes A Toll As We Get Older

We fight to love, to be equal, to be safe, but did you ever think that being gay would have a negative impact on your health? New research out of California says that "older lesbian, gay and bisexual adults are more likely to suffer from chronic physical and mental health problems than their heterosexual counterparts." And what makes this kind of thing potentially worse is that "half of older gay and bisexual men lived alone, compared with 13.4 percent of older heterosexual men."

Research like this is released all the time and how much weight you want to put on findings like this up to you. You can't argue with data, but in a survey such as this where the pool is limited to one area it's hard to know how applicable the information really is.

What's alarming about this one in particular though is that there really should be no biological difference between us and our heterosexual neighbors. Which leads me to believe that being viewed as unequal may actually be having more of an effect on us than we think.

Today's Daily Daddy is a barbarian ripe for some water cooler discussion. HBO's much touted new series, Game of Thrones based on the books by fantasy author George R. R. Martin, premiered last night. There was a great mix of royal and sexual intrigue, as well as lots of eye candy to choose from in this well rounded cast of attractive medieval men. One in particular that struck my eye, was Khal Drogo (played by Jason Momoa, of the upcoming Conan the Barbarian remake - guess he knows where his bread and butter is). He doesn't say much, but the leader of Dothraki, a group of violent and sexual tribe, doesn't need to.

I won't give too much away, but sexiness aside, I think his storyline could be one of my favorites if it goes the way I hope it will. Hint: I'm a sucker for an unexpected love story, think Beauty and the Beast. But as of right now he seems to be a major player in the battle to reclaim the throne of the fictional Westeros.

Did anyone else watch and enjoy the show last night? See any other characters that who's throne you'd want to sit on?

GLBT Omnibus Rights Bill

Recently, Colorado Congressman Jared Polis voiced his certain support for a sweeping GLBT Omnibus Rights bill, which would take the various piecemeal “gay rights” issues – such as marriage equality, employment non-discrimination, hate crimes, immigration, fair housing, public accommodations, credit, disability, federally-funded programs, the armed forces and more, and put them all into one, big, very gay Civil Rights law. Many of these issues have smaller positions in other current bills and/or are working their way through the various courts.

From Boulder, Princeton grad Polis was elected in 2008 to serve Colorado 2nd District. He is the first openly gay male elected to Congress as a freshman. He’s already been a successful entrepreneur of Internet companies (such as bluemountain.com and proflowers.com) as well as a chain of Spanish-language movie theaters. He’s the former chair of the Colorado State Board of Education (an elected office) and was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000. Also a philanthropist, Polis oversees an educational foundation, and is the founder of a number of charter schools that cater to specific, disadvantaged groups of kids in Colorado.

This proposed legislation is a first for a national politician. If this moves forward, it would completely change the face of the traditional GLBT rights strategy, which has largely been to tackle issues on a separate, and often local, basis (notable exception: DADT).
