10 Outfit Options for a Last Minute Trip to IML

We don't know if you've heard but International Mister Leather is this weekend. What's that? You don't have anything to wear? Well fear not, fellow leather lover, we're here to help. While you may not have the time to put together an elaborate outfit of straps, snaps, and zippers, there are plenty of simple leather wear options out there that can pack one hell of a sexy punch. Just grab a pair of your darkest jeans, and add any one or combination of the following accessories for a quick and effective leather ensemble.

1. Leather Cuff/Arm Band

These accent items are a quick fix and can make your arms sexy and jacked. Just remember, it matters what side you wear it on: left arm means top, and right means bottom.

2. Suspenders

These have grown in popularity over the past few years, namely because their a hot look with or without a shirt. If you can't find them in leather, a simple black pair will do in a pinch. Just watch your nipples for the inevitable snap back from passer-bys.

3. Collar

If you're feeling submissive, leather collars are a great way to broadcast just how much you want to be dominated. Even better, if you're a dog owner, you may already have one lying around the house.

4. Leather Hat

i recently started going to a mixed bar leather etc.etc. thanks for the tips on what different types of leather accessories to wear from now on i will be slowly adding some leather gear to my wardrobe. i have always thought the(leather-look) was very sexual and exciting!. wish me luck!

I've always used leather cuffs in both arms, didn't know 'bout that. I'm no leather enthusiast, but still that explains a lot.

Cuffs on both arms would, traditionally, indicate you're a switch in the Dom/sub scene. If you lean one way or the other more, you might want to ditch one of the cuffs... so remember left = dominant and right = submissive.

These are not to be equated with top and bottom, as some dominants are bottoms and some submissives are versatile (or even tops).

The article said Left = Top and Right = Bottom, so I'm confused - I enjoy leather but not as much into the dom/sub thing, but more the top/bottom thing - so is there a necessary context for when Left = dom instead of top; or right = sub instead of bottom? Does it depend on what the specific context you are in? Say, a clear bdsm environment as opposed to a general leather environment?

It should be pointed out that if one is wearing the leather only for the look and not to indicate interest in the BDSM scene, one can piss quite a few more serious people off. Or, one could not care either way. lol

If you wear leather and meet a leather guy be prepared for leather action which may consist of being tied up or some other bondage or s and M sadism and masochism, ball torture and so many other things u would never have guessed so do not wear leather unless u are prepared for guys into that scene which can be rough on u.
