Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Casper Andreas. I grew up in Sweden but I live in New York. I'm a film director, writer and actor. My latest film "Going Down in LA-LA Land" is about to open in theaters, starting with New York this Friday (April 20th).
Tell us about Going Down in La La Land.
It's a dark comedy, or dramedy if you want, about a struggling actor in Los Angeles who ends up getting involved in all kind of shady stuff to survive in Hollywood.
What do you know today that you wish you knew 20 years ago.
That Apple stock should be bought and held on to.
If you could part one piece of wisdom on today's gay youth, what would it be?
Don't waste your life away on stuff you really don't want to do, or worry to much about stuff you can't change. Life is too short -- it needs to be lived with passion!
Describe your perfect day for us.
I have to spend at least a few days doing something creative. So unless that means shooting a movie, it's sitting a few hours at Starbucks working on my new script. It also involves some time at the gym, and a nice dinner with good friends. Let's throw in a massage too! All that writing makes my neck very tense.
