Gay Dating in Columbus
Columbus may not be the first city that comes to mind when thinking of cities with large, visible gay communities, but the city boasts one of the most active and supportive communities in the nation. The gay community in Columbus is centered in Short North. This neighborhood has a large number of gar bars, restaurants and shops, especially along High Street. The size of the gay nightlife in Columbus is much bigger than you might think and there are bars and clubs to suit any gay guy’s taste --- especially Daddies and older guys.
Daddies have a number of places to go in Columbus to find any type of guy they are looking for. In Short North, Tremont attracts an older crowd, mostly Daddies, and has a more relaxed vibe. Downtown, the bar Trafik appeals to guys from any age range and is a popular place to meet other guys. Club Diversity is also popular among Daddies and draws an older crowd on any night of the week.
Younger guys also have many places to choose from when deciding what to do in Columbus. Clubs like Axis Nightclub in Short North are popular among the college students from Ohio State University. Union Bar caters to the same age range as well and is always packed with collegiate types.
Although not in the heart of the gay part of Columbus, Exile is a popular bar among Bears and older guys as well. Here you can enjoy the more mature men that Columbus has to offer.
