Louisville may not stand out as one of the Nation’s top gay-friendly destinations, but the city’s gay community is visible, active and sexy. The city’s gay and gay-friendly locales are generally situated around the Downtown area of Louisville with a wide selection of gay ‘entertainment’ options. Louisville has become a fairly diverse city so no matter what you are looking for you can find it here.

For Daddies in Louisville there are a few places you should check out to see Louisville’s gay scene in action. Downtown, Tryangles is popular with the older crowd and is a casual bar to hang out at. We are particularly impressed with the clever use of the ‘y’ in Tryangles. Double entendre, perhaps? If you want to see some live boys, The Connection has live shows where guys perform under showers. That’s what we call entertainment!

For young guys in Louisville, bars like Starbase Q in downtown attract gays looking to dance a little, and blast off to other queer galaxies. Magnolia Bar, located in Old Louisville, is another place that appeals to a younger crowd, and Hunters might want to try their luck with the older guys that frequent this hot spot.

For a more masculine crowd, Boots has a crowd of Bears and Leather Daddies. Teddy’s Bear attracts mostly older men (and their admirers) and has a large Bear following. Grrrrr.
