Gay Dating in Portland
Portland has an involved, active gay population. As one of the most liberal-minded cities in the country, Portland embraces its gay communities. Like many other growing cities, Portland does not have a specific gay district (although the Belmont district is fast becoming established as the gay neighborhood) but instead, the entire city is spotted with gay bars, clubs, restaurants and other amenities. Although the nightlife ends early, Portland is a top destination on the West Coast for gay tourists.
In the downtown area of Portland, a few bars cater to the Daddies. Fox and Hound is a great place for Daddies and older guys to meet up and have a drink. Different from much of the other ‘grungy’ bars in Portland, Fox and Hound is a more blue-collar bar that you might want to stop at if you are a Daddy in the area. Hobo's is a popular place for Daddies to find a Hunter and a good place to stop before the night is over.
Hunters have many places to cruise thanks to Portland’s abundance of hot young gay guys. Many of the bars have a grungy feel, but there are also some high-energy dance bars such as CC Slaughter's, a popular hangout. Darcelle XV is a popular place for guys of all ages and is a place that younger guys often go to.
Portland also has an Eagle, one of many across the nation. These bars attract mainly more rugged Leather Daddies and Bears alike and the Portland Eagle is no exception.
