Although it is not a very large city by itself, Providence’s gay population has been booming in this accepting, liberal-minded town. With an openly gay mayor, Providence has quickly becoming a go-to destination for gays that are looking for a small, quirky city with a gay-friendly atmosphere. A handful of universities in the city add to the younger gay population and with a surplus of attractions, Providence has been put on the map for gay culture. Most of the gay life takes place in the downtown area, but many clubs bars, and restaurants throughout the city are gay or gay-friendly.

For Daddies in Providence, a few places give off a more mature vibe. Bobby’s Place is a laid-back bar, more suitable to talk to a guy than grind against him. Union Brewery is another bar in Providence that has a more casual atmosphere and is a destination for any self-respecting Daddy in the city.

Hunters can find Daddies or other young guys in a few places in Providence. The Dark Lady in downtown Providence is a popular bar for gay guys of all ages so it should be easy to find the guy you are looking for. Mirabar, also in downtown, is a hip club for the guys that want to unwind on the dance floor. Club Energy also has a large gay following, especially with the younger guys.

Providence also has a division of the Eagle bars. Rougher guys, Bears and more mature guys will find this place appealing, especially if they are into leather.
