Gay Dating in San Diego
San Diego is a popular destination for many due to its ideal weather. The gay population of San Diego tends to be slightly younger than most of the other gay communities in the rest of the US, but that does not mean that there aren’t many areas for Daddies to feel at home. Much of the gay culture in San Diego is spread out over the city but a few neighborhoods have definitive ‘gay feels’ to them. Hillcrest is one of the most popular gay oriented villages in the city, and North Park and University Heights also have a high concentration of gay bars and restaurants.
San Diego hosts a number of bars that cater to both Daddies and their admirers. Pecs in North Park is a popular bar for Daddies to meet other Daddies and Hunters as well. In Hillcrest, The Caliph Lounge attracts many older guys and has a following of young guys looking to meet someone. In University Heights, Cheers has a more mature crowd that frequent this dive bar.
Young guys have plenty of opportunities to seek out Daddies in San Diego. Many cruise bars such as The Caliph Lounge are popular meeting places for gay guys. Bourbon Street in UniversityHeights is full of guys, often younger, looking to unwind.
The bear and leather scenes in San Diego are also quite popular, and especially North Park caters to a more rugged crowd. Pecs has a large bear following where you can met other Bears and their admirers. The San Diego Eagle, also in North Park is a leather bar that has a devoted following as well.
