Washington DC is a currently a hotspot for gay men, especially in the midst of the fight for gay rights. The city has a high concentration of gays mainly in one area, but other areas are quickly being established as gay culture centers. DuPont Circle is the cities main area for gay guys to hang out at. A few other areas around the city such as Logan Circle, has been seeing an increasing number of gays moving into the area. Much of the cities gay culture is focused on securing equality for gays as politics play a major part in this city.

Washington DC hosts a number of gay bars that have a primarily older crowd. Daddies frequent places such as Annie’s Steakhouse, a popular hangout in DuPont Circle (a good number of Hunters unwind here as well) and DIK, a more casual bar.

A number of bars are standard among Hunters in the nation’s capital. Whether you are looking for Daddies at bars like Town Danceboutique or other young guys at JR's, the city has plenty of places to meet other guys.

Bears are also accommodated in the District. Downtown, the Green Lantern is popular among more mature guys. The DC Eagle has a leather following and also a good crowd of Bears.
