No you don't -- simply download the app and login with your Daddyhunt username and password. All of your messages and Favorites will be available through the app, and vice versa.

Yes, all Daddyhunt members are featured on the app, and vice versa.

Apple users: First, you need to update to the latest version of our app to delete messages. When viewing your Inbox, swipe left or right on the message you wish to delete, and a delete button will appear. Click to the delete.

Android users: Be sure that you have updated to the latest version of our app. When viewing your message list, press and hold the message you wish to delete. Once the pop-up confirmation appears, you can click 'Yes' to remove the message from your list.

Once you block a member, that blocked member's thumbnail will remain visible to you online in the Mangrid but he will be blocked and thus unable to view your profile or send you a message. We will hopefully be enhancing the block feature soon, by also remove them from the online display.

We may add a Search feature at some point, but for now you can look for other members on the website www.misterapp.com by many different characteristics and locations.

We adhere to Apple and Android's strict photo guidelines that do not allow users to publicly display adult photos on their mobile apps. However, our users have the ability to view adult images on the website misterapp.com. Users may also choose to send private photos to each other within a chat message that may contain any private photos you want. We hope the app market relaxes guidelines soon but for the time being we must restrict public photos on the app.

If our mobile app is unable to determine a location for you or another member, then we will likely default the profile to the NYC area to ensure that it doesn't fail entirely. If the location preferences are not specifically enabled for an app, if the mobile device fails to retrieve a valid GPS fix, or if a user logs in using wifi, location errors may occur for a profile.

Apple users: Go to Settings > Location Services (make sure it is on) > look for the MISTER icon, and set the switch to On.

Android users: Go to Settings > Location > and turn on Wi-Fi and GPS options.

Occasionally, in-app payments or renewals fail because of connection issues or other uncontrollable circumstances. If you have purchased a MAGNUM membership and for any reason believe you are not getting the features you have purchased, please check Settings > Premium Status in the MISTER app. If your status reads as "Free Member," scroll to the bottom of the screen and use the "Restore previous purchases" button, which will check your account for any outstanding subscription payments that may not have reached our server. If this does not resolve your issue, please copy and paste the entire email confirmation of your iTunes or Google Play purchase in an email to support@misterapp.com and we will manually fix the situation for you.

Because of the way mobile payment subscriptions work, your MAGNUM plan cannot be canceled from the app, nor can we cancel it for you.

Go to the Settings tab on the app, tap on Premium Services, then scroll down to the bottom for downgrade instructions. Or you can follow the instructions for your Apple or Android device here: http://misterapp.com/app/downgrade-instructions.

We apologize if a photo you submitted to us was rejected. The most common reasons for a photo to be rejected include:

  • Other people visible in the photo besides yourself
  • Website or copyright imprint
  • Duplicate photo to one you already have posted
  • Inanimate objects, scenery photos, cartoons, etc.
Corrupt files or broken images are also common rejection reasons. To see the complete list of Prohibited Photos, look at the bottom of our Photo Guidelines.

We are following Apple and Android's posted policies regarding mobile app photos. Our staff has seen what members are posting on other apps, and we are surprised that they have not been disciplined yet. Racy and adult photos are quite easy to locate on other apps, and we find images that are inconsistent with their stated photo policies. Hopefully in time, we can also relax our guidelines to allow everyone's sexy photos to appear. In the meantime, we must strictly enforce the policies of the device makers.

For most Apple devices, go into Settings for your device. From the main screen, select Privacy, then Photos, and turn ON the button next to the MISTER app icon.

A "Mister" is anyone who is not sure if they are a Daddy or Hunter (or who joined via our mobile app). A "Daddy" is typically the older, more mature, or dominant partner. A "Hunter" is typically the younger guy looking for older, more mature men. On the mobile app, only the MISTER label is available for profiles--but you can edit this category via the website to the category you wish. There are no fast and set rules. You can be a Daddy, Hunter, or Mister at any age!

Login to the website misterapp.com and look on the main navigation bar for the Account tab. Look for the Username field and enter the name change you want--then be sure to click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page. If the name is available, a confirmation message will appear on your Account page. Once you change your name, all of your messages, buddies, favorites, etc. remain intact and will be associated with the new name you have chosen.

To stop notifications for our mobile app, go to Settings and adjust New Message Sound or Vibrate. Apple users may also have to adjust notifications for our app. Go to your device's Settings > Notifications > Mister, and adjust all available options.

Our team is working on this for a future update.

Apple users: To force quit an app, hit the home button twice very quickly so that all the Open and Active apps on your phone are illuminated at the bottom of the screen. Then hold down on the app icon you wish to quit until it starts jiggling. A red "minus" sign will appear on the corner of the app icon. If you press it, it will quit the app. Press the home key to return to the normal display. Make sure you are quitting an app and not deleting an app that is just sitting on your screen.

Android users: To force quit any app, go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications. Look for Mister, and press Force Stop.

Apple users: To delete the app, hold your finger down on the app icon until it begins shaking and a small 'x' appears in the top corner of the app icon. Then tap that 'x' to delete it and confirm the pop-up message. You will then be able to download MISTER again from the app store if/when you decide to come back.

Android users: To delete the app, go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications. Scroll through the list to find MISTER, and then tap on it to uninstall.

Apple users: Go to the Settings tab and press the Logout button in the upper left corner.

Android users: Go to the Settings tab, press your device's Menu key and press the logout option.

The yellow triangle is an indicator of MAGNUM (paying) members of our app. Yellow triangles give MAGNUM supporters a little extra attention on the screen and usually indicate a higher level of engagement with the site.

A green circle indicates that a member is currently online.

We may add this category to the app at some point. For now we suggest you Favorite your Buddies on the website, so they will be visible on the mobile app under the Favorites tab.
