Well traveled, well rounded, slim bear/otter hoping for love in all the RIGHT places. I have many interests and hobbies from outdoor things like hiking, petroglyphs, biking, sailing, canoeing, camping, pictographs and road trips to photography, travel, films, museums, art, music, architecture, classic cars, sightseeing, gardening, landscaping, home improvements, woodworking and to go with all this, books and book collecting (30,000+) volumes. I've traveled to about 35 countries, including a month-long sojourn through Egypt, another month in China, most of the countries in South America, including a month at a remote research station in the rain forest of French Guiana and all over Europe twice, including Greece and Turkey.

MOVIES: My favorites are movies created to tell a story of social significance and as a catalyst for needed changes. Gandhi, Schindler's List, Amistad, Cry Freedom, Stand and Deliver, American Freedom X, The Reader and Gorillas in the Mist are some milestone films. I also like good sci-fi, like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and thoughtful documentaries, like Mindwalk and those put out by the Science channel, National Geographic, History Channel, BBC and PBS. I watch very little TV except those documentary channels and old classic sci-fi like the Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone.
